Dear Marie and family,
I was sorry and sad to hear of Jim's passing - and want to let you know that I will keep you in my prayers as you find a way to fill the void in your lives. They say time heals - but it does take time. May you find comfort in the beautiful memories that your family has created over the years.
God Bless you all,
Pam (Todt) Ferrani and family

I once read that it is not the number of years you have lived in your life, but how you have lived them. What truer words could be said about Jim?
I will always remember the way he battled his illness, and made the very most of the time he was given. It will truly be inspirational to me.
I'm proud to have known him, and had him as, at least, a soccer friend for the past twenty years. It was always fun for me each season to go to referee games, and to find out which team Jim was coaching. Whenever we would meet, it was like a reunion, and we would be able to catch up on happenings from the previous years.
If there is soccer in Heaven (and I'm sure there is) I know that Jim is ready to play, or coach, or be involved with the game he loved so much, and I know that there will be one dear friend missing from the games here.
Rest in peace, Jim, and God bless you Marie and kids.

Marie, I saw so much love in these messages. They failed to mention laughing. I remember all the times we all laughed together when our lives were much more simple. I loved those days and I am glad we shared them. Theresa

Marie & Family, My heart goes out to you and your family. All I can say is to surround yourself with happy memories of Jim to help you through the days and nights. As someone just told me: "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Marie and Family,
I've had the pleasure to know Jim since Nitschmann Jr High. As I write this I find myself smiling as I remember his wonderful personality and laugh. It could be 5 years since seeing him and he talked to you just like it was yesterday. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family at this very sad time.

To The Boland Family,
My deepest condolences. Jim and I were united through employment at KidsPeace. Jim was dedicated to kids and this was exemplified through his coaching.
Jim and I shared many of the same musical interests. Our conversations at work often cenetered around our love for music. The last time I saw Jim was at the Tower Theatre for a YES show a couple of years back. I always knew if YES was touring, I would see Jim there. Jim made many positive contributions to young kids in the Lehigh Valley and will be missed!
God Bless you all!

To the Boland Family,
Having worked with Jim during my tenure as AD at Nazareth and his as Boys' Coach, I know firsthand what a genuine, honest, caring and passionate person he was. Despite the significant challenges he faced he stayed true to his principles.
The time he has given to so many young men and women can't be quantified, nor can the positive impact he's had on so many communities within the Lehigh Valley.
I was fortunate to have had him working with me at Nazareth and now keep him and all of you in my prayers during this time.
With deepest sympathies,
Jackson Buratti
