Jason J. Ernst, 43, of Alburtis, died May 23, 2011. He was the husband of Debra L. (Reppert) Ernst. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Sandra A. (Bercik) Ernst and the late Michael K. Ernst, Sr. He worked as a car salesman for Lehigh Valley Hyundai and Vinart. Survivors: Mother; wife; son, Alexander B. Ernst at home; daughter, Jade A. Ernst at home; brothers, Michael K. Ernst, Jr. and Christopher J. Ernst; sister, Michele E. Antrim, and Sylvia H. Ernst, all of Allentown. Services: Memorial Service Friday, May 27, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus. Friends may call 1 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to schantzfh.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial fund to benefit his children. Please make checks payable to Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus, PA 18049.

Dear Ernst Family, I am sorry for loss. My name is Tonia, when Jason and I got back in touch with one another we were to have a family dinner with you all at Snuzzles. I am sorry that we never got to meet. Jason will be sorely missed. Just remember he will always live with in you. We were Blessed with a real humorous guy. This is very sad news for everyone. We will miss the great times we spent together hangin out and playing cards. I know Jason was the best bluffer ever! He always put a smile on all our faces. "What's up, cuz?", is what you just said to me on Saturday. I can still hear it, and a handshake and a hug!Jay, I always looked up to you, even though we only saw each other a few times a year these days, you were a big part of my life growing up. You all were, the whole family. Hey, do me a favor, sit down and have a beer with Murf...for me! It was too soon, I will miss you at Christmas and any other family things that are going on, but we know you will be there with us in spirit. Alex, Jade, I know it is easy for someone to say it, but stay strong,you are good kids, and you need to be there for your mom as well. Debbie, Sandy, the rest of you guys, we are and have been thinking about you, and love you all very much. I am trying not to wonder why, and remembering all that Jay was..to everyone!

my sincere condolences to all. There is nothing worse than losing a family member. I hope you all can get through this tragedy with stronger hearts and souls. This is never easy to say without saying the same things hundreds of people have already said but the good thing is that its sincere and from the heart. Sean and I are truely sorry and sad to hear this great man is no longer with us. What painful news to receive regarding Jason's passing. I was lucky enough to enjoy six years' of Jason's company thru junior high and high school. It was always comforting to know someone who shared your sense of humor. I guess we'll never know exactly what goes through one's thoughts and soul, but I hope that someday the joy of Jason's life will overshadow the pain you're having to bear. Im sorry to hear about your loss. Mostly every Friday i slept over at your house I use to think your dad disliked me intill 2 weeks ago when he sat me down next to him and told me everyone in your family loved me.
