Jean Hankee Obituary
She was a loving mother, former teacher, childcare aide, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine Diltz of Downingtown, Amy and husband Michael McDermott of Portland Oregon and son Eugene W. III and wife Sue, of Walnutport.
She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Max McDermott, Alexander Diltz, Nicole Diltz, wife of Dr. Ty Sayed, Brittany and Eugene Hankee IV and great granddaughter Hazel Sayed.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington, PA.

Ma Hankee, so sorry to hear of your passing. My love and thoughts go out to Chris, Amy and Eugene and your families. I will cherish my memories with her, sitting at the kitchen table over breakfast after our frequent weekend sleepovers getting motherly advice from Jean over pancakes. A wonderful woman with a great sense of humor. Jean, You are back with Eugene now, the two of you can fly with the angels now. Love you!

Eugene and all the Hankee families,
We are so sorry to hear about your mother and grandmother. She was a very special lady to Ernie and I. No matter when we'd call she'd always help us. I'm sure she missed your dad terribly. They were so good together and brought all of you with them. They will always watch over you all always. You have your own angels now. Keep the good memories and be happy for all the years you all had together. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.
