Jeanette S. Lagler

Jeanette S. Lagler, 88, of Allentown, passed away June 15, 2021 at Renaissance Home, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Lewis L. Lagler, who passed away in 2015. The couple celebrated 63 years of marriage. Born in Zionsville, she was the daughter of the late Basil D. and Mabel F. (Diehl) Smith. Jeanette worked for the former Collegeville Flag Company, Zionsville, for more than 20 years and she also worked at Rodale Press until her retirement. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Zionsville. Jeanette loved her family and her grandchildren, baking, cooking, needlepoint, quilting, and sharing her smile with everyone.

Survivors: Sons, Dale M. Lagler and his wife, Valencia, and Gary A. Lagler and his wife, Carol; Grandchildren, Tricia, Lauren, Jennifer, and Benjamin; Great-Grandchildren, Rose and Lily; Sisters, Phyllis Hoch, Fay Wunderly, and Irene Frederick. Jeanette was predeceased by her siblings, Arbie Gruber, Julia Kline, and Basil Smith, Jr.

Services: 11 AM Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Salem United Methodist Church, 6440 Powder Valley Road, Zionsville, PA 18092. Viewings will be held 6-8 PM Monday at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus, and 10:30-11 AM Tuesday in the church. Interment to follow at Evangelical Upper Milford Cemetery, Zionsville. www.BKRFH.com
