John Wesley Grigg, Jr., born in Philadelphia, PA, on October 19, 1924, passed away on December 22, 2011. He was a WWII Veteran, serving his country as a Coxswain commanding a J Boat, and enjoyed volunteering at area hospitals, spending quality time with his family, helping people, and playing scrabble with his wife. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Jean M. Grigg; daughters, Judith Goldberg and husband Melvin of Huntington Beach, CA, Debbie Morikawa and husband Steve, of Cloverdale, CA, Karen King and husband James, of Bethlehem, PA, Linda Grigg, of Bethlehem, PA, and Rebecca Cserpnyak of Coplay, PA; sons, John W. Grigg III of Bethlehem, PA, and Benjamin Grigg and wife Beth, of Allentown, PA; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services: We held private at the convenience of the family. Auer Cremation Services Inc. handled the arrangements. Contributions: May be made to Good Shepherd Hospital.
