Joseph Giacini

Joseph Giacini, 71, of Quakertown went home to be with his Lord & Savior on March 26, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Helen M. (Nester) Giacini. They were married 53 years last December. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Angelo & Irene (Payan) Giacini. He was a test system engineer retiring in 2009 from Sperry Corporation in Blue Bell. Prior to that he worked for Philco Ford and St. Micro Electronics. He also retired in 2010 at the facilities manager for Quakertown Christian School. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Perkasie where he helped his wife in the nursery, was a church deacon, and served on the sound room ministry. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post #242. Survivors: In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Joseph C. and his wife Beth of Quakertown. A granddaughter Ashley. Services: will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the C.
