Joseph Heidecker Obituary

Joseph F. Heidecker
Joseph F. Heidecker, 74, of Chalfont, died peacefully at his home of cancer on Sept. 10, 2005. Born in Bethlehem on October 28, 1930, he was a son of the late Joseph W. and Elizabeth (Tremel) Heidecker. Irene (Conners) Heidecker is his loving and devoted wife. He was a machinist with Rohm & Haas for more than 30 years and retired in 1994 from the Spring House Plant. He will always be remembered as an avid golfer who was passionate about the sport. He played in several leagues throughout the area. Survivors: Wife; children, Jean Curran (Frank), Kathleen Cairone (Joseph); stepchildren, Mark Connors (Linda), Terence Connors (Karen), Joseph Connors (Denis); brother, James Heidecker (Libby); 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Joan (Fenstermacher) Heidecker, and his second wife, Margaret (Mellon) Heidecker. Services: Funeral Mass, 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, in St. Jude Catholic Church, 321 W. Butler Ave. (Route 202), Chalfont, where the viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday. Interment, Friedensville Cemetery. Arrangements, Scanlin Funeral Home, Chalfont. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Catholic Church Building Fund 18914.
