Joseph Rothrock Obituary
Joseph M. Rothrock, 72, of Summerfield, FL, previously of Allentown, died March 18, 2013. Born in Bethlehem on August 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Emilio and May Martins. He was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky. Survivors: Daughter, Kandy; son, Harvey and wife Cheryl, son, Larry and wife Linda and son, Jeff and wife Danielle; sisters, Hazel Pinto, Shirley Keys, Maria Merrill and Sandra Rothrock; nine grand-children and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Theodore, Robert and Franklin Rothrock. Services: Celebration of life service, 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 31, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road in Whitehall. Reception immediately following the service.

I want to thank all for the nice words and thoughts from you all at the passing of my dad. He he fought hard for the last 2 years but was just tired and ready to be with mom. They are now together in heaven.

my deepest sympathy to the family of Joe. I worked with him at the Durkee Food plant in Bethlehem Pa. He was an all around great guy and always had a smile on his face. i was privileged to make a few trips to Florida with him when he found out I had friends in Ocala and offered to take me along with him and always dropped me off right at my friends door. I will always remember Joe always coming to work in shorts even in the dead of winter. I am glad I knew him
