My grandfather was obviously a great men, as evidenced by the sheer number of people that cared for him and about him. Though I only knew him for about 24 years, I knew he touched the lives of everyone he met. He was an amazing influence on me and made me want to strive to be a person he respected and a person that made him proud. I am proud to be the granddaughter of Joseph Weber Sr. If I could say one thing about the man...it would be that he always knew what was right and always lived by what he thought was right. Every single thing he did was for his family...so thank you grandpop! Thank you for being there for me always and I am glad that now, I can talk with you whenever I need you...and that you are in a greater place where you can always watch me drink a shot of Jager in your honor.

Dear Joe,
I am really sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I knew your dad from the jam sessions at Edelweiss Haus, in which I occasionally participated when back in town. He was a great musician giving of his talent and contributing to playing music in the Austrian tradition, something that I remember from my days in the Lehigh Valley and long to hear here in California. May he rest in peace. May God bless you and everyone in your family in this time of sorrow.

Joseph Weber...there are not enough words to explain my beloved grandfather. He was a musician, a handyman, and am inspiration to us all. He was the greatest man i have ever knew (along with my father). He meant the world to me and so many others. He touched the lives of thousands of people. He was adored by all who knew him. I am so fortunate to have had him in my life for as long as i did, and to have shared so many memories together. He will always be in my heart(and my familes). He was the best husband, father, grandfather and brother anyone could have ever asked for. Although it is very hard to not have him with us anymore, i know he is happier with God. Whenever i feel overcome with emotion i just remember that he is in a better place and he is no longer in any pain. I hope he can now see from heaven how many people love and care for him. I am a better person because i had him as a grandfather. He will always be a tremendous part of my past, my present and my future. Rest in Peace grandpa! I love you so much and you are my inspiration!
Love always and forever
Your grandaughter,
Tanya

Dear Dad, Loving and sometime gruff. It has been and honor knowing you and being able to know that you accepted my quirk and ways. I will miss you being on the couch waiting for the Phillies and the Eagles to come on. Love ya, Dad.

My father was the greatest father a son could ever have. He was also the best friend to anyone that knew him. No matter what anyone needed, he was there to help in any way he could. To me, he was not only a father, but an educator too. He aided me in my musical abilities with a firm hamd; and sometimes a ruler too. My interest in woodworking also dirived through him. I know that he is in a far better place now, without all the pain and agony he has endured throughout all those many years. Yet I wish he were here with me. And I know he is, just that I can't see him. Dad, I love you and always will. Butch

He was a great musician, but most notably a very kind man. My condolences to the whole family.
Joseph's music making, lost to us, will now grace the banquets of heaven. May those who mourn be given courage and may he expand his repertoire in eternal peace.
