Julie Wolfe Obituary

Julie A. Wolfe
Julie A. Wolfe, 92, of Emmaus died Monday, October 31, 2011 in St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill after spending a wonderful day with her daughter, Beverly. A former resident of Levittown and New Orleans, LA, Julie moved to the Lehigh Valley to be close to her daughter, Sheila, after surviving Hurricane Katrina. She was the widow of Joseph F. Joe Wolfe. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Gorolis and Anna (Baranowskas) Gorolis Jacobs and the stepdaughter of Fedor Thomas Jacobs. Julie was a central supply technician for Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol for 25 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Levittown. It was important to Julie to pray every day. She loved talk radio and The Morning Call. Very artistic, Julie could create beautiful crafts out of very little. Very generous, she was always making care packages for her nieces and nephews. She never forgot a family members or friends birthday. Survivors: Daughters, Beverly Dunlap with whom she resided, and Sheila, wife of Jeff Youst of Allentown; twin brothers, John Jacobs, husband of Anita of Houston, TX and Fred Jacobs, husband of Shirley of Scranton; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Gorolis. Services: Funeral Service 10 a.m. Saturday in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th & Hamilton Sts., Allentown. Call 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julies memory to No Kill Lehigh Valley, PO Box 4272, Bethlehem, PA 18018 or to the charity of ones choice.

Dear Sheila and Bev,
I shall always remember the good times we had with your mom, expecially the trip to New Orleans.
Your mom was a very special person and I know you will both miss her alot. Just remember the good times you had with her and keep the love in your hearts and know that you will see her again one day.
