Kevin Bogert Obituary
Kevin D. Bogert, Sr., 45, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday April 6, 2011 after involvement in an automobile accident. He was formerly married to Tara (Benware) Brawn. Born in Allentown, Kevin was a son of Carol, wife of Thomas Pockevich, of Allentown, and the late Dean Bogert. He worked as a roofer for the Alan Kunsman Roofing and Siding Company in Freemansburg. Kevin was an eight year Navy Veteran. Survivors: Surviving with his mother are children, Kevin D. Jr, Michael D, Amanda, Felicia, all of Allentown, and Lorie, of Bethlehem; sisters; Linda, wife of Fidel Justiniano, of Goose Creek, SC, and Kimberly, wife of Chris Haydt, of Easton; and grandson Cameron. Services: Saturday April 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the ODonnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Ave. Allentown. The Rev. Dr. John M. Brndjar will officiate. Calling will be on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church S. Bradford & E. Juniats Sts. Allentown, PA, 18103.

There's no easy way to express how i feel about losing you uncle Kevin, you were my friend, my uncle, my blood, and a part of my heart. When it all hit me i felt that piece of my heart fall off. But every night i look up at the stars and i know that youre looking down and watching over me, When i take a test i feel you right beside me cheering me on, and i know that you'll always be with me forever in my soul. we did not grow up together and really did not know one another, but myself Dean and Troy were all shocked and saddened by your passing. I was saddened to hear of this tragic loss. Kevin was the son of my cousin Dean. I remember Kevin as a little baby and seeing him at his grandfather's house. I want his family to know that my thought and prayers are with them during this most difficult time.

Kevin,although we just saw each other a hanfull of times,i thought of you as a brother. You accepted me into your life without criticism,without making fun of who i am and i will always be greatful for you for that! You were an awsome person no matter what anybody said about you. The last summer i spent with you at your home was one of the best times i had in awhile. You are resting now kevin, all your pain and FRUSTRATIONS are gone! Kevin, i just want you to know, ive always loved you very much.I never thought anything bad of you.We never had a disagreement,about anything.No matter what you were going through i always stuck by you.
