Kevin J. Thode

1975 - 2022

Kevin James Thode, 47, of Center Valley, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 25, 2022. He was the husband of Elaine (Kurtz) Thode with whom he shared over 17 years of loving marriage. Born on August 12, 1975 in Rockland, MA, he was the son of the late Kenneth C. and Nancy (Love) Thode. Kevin's family moved several times in his youth, spending seasons in Scituate, MA, Sherburne, NY, and Hellertown, PA where he graduated from Saucon Valley Senior High School and met Elaine. Kevin completed his undergraduate studies at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. Kevin and Elaine started their lives together in Conshohocken, PA and eventually moved back to the Lehigh Valley to raise their family. After a career with several prominent firms, Kevin owned and operated a telecommunications consulting company, SmartPacket IP Management, for many years. Above all else, Kevin loved his family. He was a devoted father. You would often find him throwing football with his kids or video calling any day he wasn't at home with them.

Survivors: Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elaine; daughters, Lily Thode and Lindsay Thode; son, Jacob Thode; brother, Keith Thode and his wife Amanda as well as their children, Micah and Teddy. Many other family members, and friends that were like family, will miss Kevin dearly.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 2:30-5pm in the Centennial Ballroom at the Homewood Suites in Center Valley. Remarks will be made at 3:00.
