Mae Kivert
Mae Kivert, 99, of Allentown, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on October 20, 2011. Born in Freeland, she was the wife of the late Saul A. Kivert. She was the daughter of the late Morris and Tillie (Rabinovitz) Chenetz and she was raised by her step-mother, Lottie Chenetz. She was a life member of Hadassah and a 1930 graduate of Freeland High School. Survivors: Daughters, Tama Fogelman, Maxine Klein and her husband Don; Sister, Evelyn Dymond; seven grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Mae was predeceased by brother, Charles Chenetz, and sisters, Ethel Koplin and Harriet Gottesman. Services: Sunday, Noon, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton Streets. Interment will take place at Agudas Achim Cemetery, Whitehall. Shiva will be observed on Sunday only, at 6:30 p.m., at the home of Tama Fogelman. Contributions: Jewish Family Services, 2004 Allen St., Allentown, PA 18104, Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County, 4234 Dorney Park Rd., Allentown, PA 18104, or to a charity of ones choice.
