Margaret May Obituary

Margaret "Marty" Jett May, age 78, passed away on September 22, 2021. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia to Kathryn Morrison Jett and George Washington Jett. She graduated from University of Richmond/Westhampton College where she studied Mathematics. She enjoyed a successful 25-year career as a Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst in Allentown, PA.

Marty was a friend to all whom she met, and her smile lifted the spirits of anyone who encountered her. She was known for asking loved ones and strangers alike "How can I help?" Marty was devoted to her family and a lover of all animals. She found peace in a good book and an ocean breeze on the porch of the Holly House. Marty was a guiding light to all who she embraced.

Margaret is predeceased by her mother, Kathryn Jett (Morrison), her father George Washington Jett and her sister Julia Shepherd (Jett). She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Steltz (May) and her husband Steve Steltz of Emmaus; daughter Kathryn May of Colorado; two adoring grandchildren Mason and Sebastian Steltz, nieces and nephew and her beloved dogs, Charlie and Bella.

Services are private for the family. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, Emmaus.
