Marjorie Rader Obituary

Marjorie "Margie" Adelle Rader, 95, died Thursday, July 21, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Jack B. Rader Sr. with whom she shared 71 years of marriage prior to his passing in May of 2022.

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Iva (Kuhns) Deibert, Sr.

Margie was a member of the choir at St. Marks Community Lutheran Church in Appenzell. During her working career, she was a dental hygienist and later a fashion designer. She mastered everything she set her mind to – golf, tennis, silk screening, sign painting, stained glass, oil and watercolor painting, sewing, calligraphy, photography, skiing and horseback riding. She especially loved playing cards, cooking and baking. Rarely was there an empty seat at her dining table. She was grateful for her life and family, always willing to share wonderful stories and her ever- present positive outlook and smile.

Margie is survived by three children: Jack Rader, Jr. and his wife, Susan; Robin Rader; and Bill Rader and his wife, Kelly. She also is survived by seven grandchildren: Jack Rader, III and his wife, Ashley; Benjamin Rader and his wife, Sonja; Elisabeth Rader; Abigail (Rader) Cleveland and her husband, Rob; Bill D. Rader and his wife, Danielle; Amy (Rader) Gaus and her husband, Tommy; and Megan Rader. She was blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Wolfgang, Adler, Grace, Hendrick, Jack IV, Mya, and Quinn as well as ten nieces and nephews she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, daughter Jill, sisters Betty Boyer and Jean Boyer, and brother William F. Deibert, Jr.

The family will like to extend a special thank you to all who loved Marge and Jack and were involved in their care: Mebbie, Annie (and Baxter), Aga (and BooBoo), Daniela, Bill, Agata, Beverly, Hanna, and others throughout the years.

A celebration of life for Jack, Marge and Jill will be held at The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake on Friday, September 16th, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm. The family wishes to extend an invitation to all who knew and loved them.

Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

I am so sad to learn of her passing. Gus loved Jack and Marge very much as did I. They were always very welcoming, warm and genuine. They will be missed.

Our memories at Mountain Springs are priceless and the friendship my parents, Carmen and Dolly Bellizzi had with Marge and Jack was one of dedication, fun and love. Jack could always bring a smile to my dad with his weekly phone calls and Marge´s chocolate cake was always a hit on dads birthday. Anyone who knew the Raders loved them.We are sorry for your loss. It´s never easy to say goodbye regardless of age. We wish you peace. Sharon Bellizzi Friedman and Bob

If you were a friend of the Raders your life has been blessed. Deepest sympathy to the entire family. Our family loved Marge and Jack, and our memories at Mountain Springs are priceless. Jack, Marge and my parents Carmen and Dolly had a loving, dedicated, fun and extremely precious friendship. When my dad was house bound and having a " bad " day Jack would call and dad would light up like a Christmas tree. We are sorry for your loss, and even tho they lived a long filled life, we never want to say goodbye. We wish you peace and thank you for the memories we have with those 2 special people. Sincerely, Sharon Bellizzi Friedman and Bob.

So sorry to hear about your family's loss!... We have very fun memories of a beautiful person who was always there to support those who surrounded her life..... We looked forward to seeing any of your family because of their positive view of life.... Thanks for years of allowing us to go into the ice cream shop and to use the tennis courts and especially to sled on the hills!... We were always spoiled by the beautiful scenery that was right up our way because of how you guys took care of your landscape and homes, etc!... But all of you always waved on your way down the road and you offered us neighborly friendship forever.... Your mom looks beautiful on the pictures and she maintained her young image til she passed!... We will so miss knowing she's not there anymore..... We trust mountain springs lake will be there for our lifetime!
