Marjorie A. Tust

Marjorie A. Tust, 85, formerly of the eastside of Allentown, passed away peacefully at her home in Moore Township on Monday, July 11, 2022, surrounded by loving family. She was the wife of James F. Tust. The couple celebrated 51 years of marriage on January 23rd. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Lynn and Jennie (Roth) Hartranft. Marg was a graduate of Allentown High School, Class of 1955. A member of the I.L.G.W. Union, she worked as a sewing machine operator for many years, until retiring. She enjoyed sewing and was a talented seamstress, making most of the clothes for her children. Marg was the consummate homemaker and a talented artist. She was an awesome ice fisherman, responsible for most of the fish on the ice, whenever she, Jim or the kids went ice fishing. Marg also enjoyed camping, loved the beach, and had many fond memories of time spent with family at Camp Okie-Dokie, the family cabin in the Poconos. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Jim, she is survived by her children, Paul J. Fischl, IV and wife, Linda, of Marietta, NY, Joanne Temprine and husband, Lou, of Delaware, Terri Stewart and husband, Art, of Walnutport, James Tust of Coplay, and Linda Hujsa and husband, Bill, of Moore Township; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert "Chick" Hartranft and wife, Ann, of Emmaus; nieces and nephews. Marg was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah A. (Fischl) Van Brunt; a brother, David Hartranft; and a sister, Elaine Krause.

Services: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 9:30 A.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday morning from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Allentown.
