Mary Jo A. Krause
Mary Jo A. Krause, 64, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009 in the Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Richard J. Krause. They celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary in February 2009. Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Josephine (Lombard) Fisher. Mary Jo was an administrative assistant for Medical Associates of the Lehigh Valley for 12 years before retiring in 2007. Previously, she was employed by Hesss for many years in the Accounts Payable Department. Mrs. Krause was a member of Cathedral/St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown.Mary Jo enjoyed spending her free time with her family. Survivors: Husband; Children; Christine M. Krause of Emmaus, Richard J. Krause II and his wife Grace of Forksville, Mary Ann and her husband Eric Wagner of Allentown; brothers, Robert and his wife Carole Fisher of Muskogee, Okla., Edward Fisher of Shenandoah; grandchildren, Lauren and Gregory. Services: Mass 10:30 am Monday, Cathedral/ St. Catharine of Siena, 1825 Turner St., Allentown. Call 8:30 - 10 am Monday in Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. I was fortunate to work with Mary Jo at MATLV. She was a wonderful person who made an everlasting impression in my life. My deepest sympathy to her family, which I heard many wonderful stories about from Mary Jo.

I have missed MaryJo since she left her daily duties at MATLV. Our long, almost weekly, phone calls helped me not miss her so much. She will always be in my heart. I extend my deepest sympathies to Rich and her entire family.
