Matthew Hummel Obituary
Matthew is survived by his mother Vicki and husband Bill Sames; brothers Norman Hummel, Robert Hummel, and Troy Phillips; sisters Shari Hopkins and Linda Lilly along with extended family. He was predeceased by grandparents Marie & Albert Hummel and Helen & Edward Carpenter.
Services: viewing Saturday November 5th starting at 12:00 noon at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Prayer service beginning at 2:00 with Rev. Rodney Wells officiating.
Contributions can be made to the Sanctuary at Haafsville, www.thesanctuarypa.org. or to www.preventsuicidepa.org.

Matt,
I never thought that I would even be writing this. I miss you already. Most of all I miss your smiling face and the endless jokes. I am going to miss your Christmas cookies and chocolates and our trips to Dino's Pizza (because they have the best pizza!), our snapchats back and forth of our Bang energy drinks- you asking me if I had one today! I'll miss us blasting and dancing to country songs going through the drive thrus. We danced and sang like no one was even watching us. When I go through Lehigh Parkway it will never be the same without you hanging from your tree blasting your music telling me you see me and asking if i see you!
You were such a wonderful man and beautiful light on this earth. You helped me so much. I wish there would have be something I could have done to help you. Thank you for being one of my best friends.
I will pray for you and your family during these difficult times. I pray you are finally at peace and I hope you know that you are so deeply loved.
my last text to you a few days ago said it but ill say it again. I miss you and I love you!

Hummel was such a great human being and I feel honored to have known him. From going bridge jumping in the summer time to snowboarding in the winter, I will always cherish the memories we have together brother. I´ll miss you man. Fly high and watch over us all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you through this very tragic time. Matts smile was contagious, we just love him. The way he made us laugh. Together with our son the trouble they would get into together. He always had a big hug for me when I saw him. He will be missed so so much. I'm so sorry, the loss of Matt is Heartbreaking.
