Mel was a great example of being God's hands. He cheerfully served so many at Bethany Wesleyan. He blessed us by using his gifts and showing leadership and friendship.
It was a privilege to know him. I'm praying for Carol and Jasmine and her family and extended family during the heartache of no longer having him here on Earth. We mourn because he was so special.

Carol, Jasmine and family, we were so sorry to hear of Mel's passing. We remember his jolly face and upbeat spirit. At Trinity Wesleyan Church we remember fond memories. He loved to cook and could make some delicious turkey BBQ. Time passes so quickly and we wonder where it went. Thank the good Lord there is a day coming when there will be no more goodbyes and we'll live with those who loved the Lord and with our Lord forever. As we see the signs all around us, we know that day is drawing nearer. May the good Lord wrap you in His arms and lead you through this time of mourning and healing.
