Joyce E. Welliver

Joyce E. Welliver, 84 of Orefield, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center in Allentown, PA. Born July 27, 1941 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lizzy Sturm and stepdaughter to the late Norman Schaffer. She was the wife of the late Eugene C. Welliver, Sr. who passed away in August 2019.

Joyce last worked as a school bus driver for the Parkland Area School District for many years before retiring. Prior to, she worked as a clerk for the former F.W. Woolworth Department Store, Allentown, PA for 20 years until it's closing. She was a long-time member of the Egypt U.C.C- Community Church, Whitehall, PA.

She is survived by her son, Eugene C. Welliver, Jr. and wife Billie Jo of Phippsburg, ME, daughter; Tina Welliver of Lewiston, ME, nephew, Robert and Darlene Osmun, Bethlehem, PA, niece, Karen Osmun, Schnecksville, PA, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Osmun, nephew, James Osmun, and a grandson Jordan Welliver.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday March 4, 2026, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. Dr. J. Bradley Roth officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery - Allen Twsp., Northampton, PA.
