Brian Stanley Wittman

Brian Stanley Wittman, 55, of Macungie and formerly of Flushing, MI and Clinton, NC, died suddenly on Monday, March 3, 2025 in his residence. He was the husband of Cynthia L. (Harmon) Wittman of Flushing, MI.

Born in Allentown, Brian was the son of Chirlin R. (Johnson) Wittman of Topton, PA, and the late Stanley Wittman who died on March 22, 2001. Brian was a member of Salem Bible Church and was a graduate of Salem Christian School on Macungie. He honorably and faithfully served his country in The United States Marine Corps during the Gulf War. Following his time in the Marine Corps, Brian attended and graduated James Sprunt Community College, Kenansville, NC, with a degree in nursing. As a skilled nurse, he devoted his career to caring for those in need at McLaren - Flint Hospital, Flint, MI, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of countless patients and colleagues alike.

Brian was a member of Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion, Topton, and enjoyed playing video games. Brian lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, an unwavering commitment to helping others, and above all, the profound love for his family. He enjoyed and appreciated his frequent breakfasts with his mother and sisters, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Most recently, Brian helped to take care of his youngest grandson, Ryker. He always made sure that Ryker was well taken care of and that he had plenty of dino nuggets and icy tea to keep him happy. Brian had a huge heart and would give anything to help anyone who needed it.

Along with his wife and mother, Brian is survived by his seven children, Benjamin M., husband of Caitlynd B. Wittman, Macungie, PA, Travis L. Wittman, Grand Blanc, MI, Catherine E. Wittman, Flushing, MI, Margaret G. Wittman, Flushing, MI, Stephen S. Wittman, Flushing, MI, Sarah A. Wittman, Flushing, MI, and Elijah P. Wittman, Macungie, PA, four grandchildren, Gabriel S. Wittman, Michael J. Wittman, Benjamin M. Wittman, Jr., and Ryker C. Wittman; and three sisters, Debra J. (Wittman), widow of Glenn L. Miller, Topton, PA, Sandra A. (Wittman), widow of Robert L. Reppert, Mertztown, PA, and his twin-sister, Nancy A. (Wittman), wife of Shawn W. Horning, Leesport; and their families.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Brian's life will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton, PA with Pastor Kevin Schultz officiating. Burial, will military honors, will follow in St. Peter's Union Cemetery, Macungie. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
