Michael C. Bachman

42 years of age and resident of Saylorsburg, passed away on January 8, 2024 with his mother and sister by his side at Saint Luke's Hospital Monroe Campus. Michael was born in Allentown to John Bachman and Linda (Hower) Bachman. He attended High School in Kutztown, and was employed by A-1 Electric from 2000-2006. He moved on to working with his longtime friend at James Gray Flooring until 2008. Most recently he worked for his father at John Bachman HVAC from 2009-2019. Michael loved riding, climbing, jumping and racing with his dirt bikes, tuff trucks and side by side. Inclined with a "no fear" attitude, he never failed to impress the many cherished friends he met along the way. He was an avid mechanic and could figure out how to fix or rebuild anything. His kind spirit made him the first to jump at the opportunity to help anyone in need. He loved teaching and sharing his knowledge with anyone who would listen. He will be missed.

Michael is survived by his parents, grandmother Kathleen Bachman, sister, Michele with husband Mark Janotka, half-sisters Kathleen and Julia Bachman; nieces Madison and Morgan Janotka.

Services will be 11:00 am Thursday January 18, 2024 in the Gilbert Funeral Home 444 Pershing Blvd. Whitehall, PA 18052, located one block south of the Fullerton Ave. exit of Route 22, where his family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be private. Those in attendance are invited to a luncheon at the Fullerton Fire Co. #1 851 Second Street Whitehall, PA 18052 following his service.
