Michael Kovalchick Obituary
Michael was self-employed for many years as a roofing and siding contractor. He enjoyed playing his guitar and bike riding. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by son, Michael J. Kovalchick, and wife Candice; and grandson Tyler Kovalchick; sister Yvonne Hallman and boyfriend Paul Howells; son Christopher Kovalchick; Aunt Caroline Rogers and her husband Richard.
Services will be held graveside on Monday, January 4, 2021 11:00 A.M. St. Andrews Cemetery 1180-1198 Calvary Street N. Catasauqua, PA. 18032. Due to current restrictions and guidelines; we ask that those in attendance wear a face mask and practice social distancing. when we met in dec.1999, i had know idea the relationship that started with him saying ,dont you hurt my sister,would bloom into what we had, we have laughed about that together since. wow real nice guy, missed by everyone that know him.heaven will be a little better with this guy around. love you Mick, until we meet again ,Paul.

I haven seen Mickey in about twenty years, I always wanted to bump into him to say hello. Mickey was a nice guy with a big heart. We spent some time jamming in the basement, had allot of fun.

Very Sad to hear of Mickey's passing. Sending Many Prayers to Mickey's Family. I have such fond memories of us growing up together in our North Catasauqua neighborhood. I would occasionally see Mickey in town and he was always so kind as he shared a nice memory from the past and always asked about how everyone in my family was.
Rest in Peace Mickey and "Rock" the Heavens!

Micky You were such a great friend of mine. If anyone inspired me to play the Guitar when I was young it was you. Those countless nights and hours we spent down in your basement on railroad Street watching and listening to you play. I would always get the lyrics for you from songs and get them typed up nice. That is where I started playing guitar (Bass Guitar). I also remember hearing you play in the old Thomas Iron works abandoned Buildings you could hear him for miles. I will remember you always my friend, Rock on in that great concert venue in Heaven. I will always love and miss you my friend and inspiration. Thank you for all you have done fore me Rest in peace my friend.

My condolences and prayers go out to Mikey's entire family. I met Mike a few years back, we became friends almost immediately. Over the years Mike did some work for me and we would run into each other at the "Bacon Strip" restaurant and on the trail in back of his house. We would have great talks about everything and anything. I will miss him!
