Frances R. Buchman

Frances R. Buchman, 88 of Catasauqua passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at LVH – Muhlenberg.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Dorney) Moyer. She was the wife of Theodore T. Buchman with whom she shared 67+ years of marriage.

Frances was a graduate of Emmaus High School and was a longtime member of Race Street Baptist Church in Catasauqua. She was a Sales Associate in Retail working up until her sudden illness.

She loved crossword puzzles. As a child, her father taught her the importance of keeping your mind sharp by completing them. She enjoyed working in her garden and listening to music. Above all she loved her family and was a loving and caring person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband Theodore, sons Terry and Eric (Theresa) Buchman, daughter Kathy (John) Kershner, sisters Barbara Kline and Marlene Moyer, grandchildren Samantha, Matthew, Scott, Steven, Justin and Cody, great-grandchildren Hanne, Diedrich, Thadeous and Theodore. She was predeceased by her son Brian K. Buchman and sisters Dolores and Florence.

There will be a calling period on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua from 10-11 a.m. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Chris Weltin will follow in the parlor at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the family c/o the funeral home.
