Michael Lukitsch Obituary
Michael R. Lukitsch, 57, of New Ringgold passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in his home surrounded by his family. Born in Allentown, a son of the late Joseph M. and Rosemarie P. (Miller) Lukitsch. Mike was married to Denise A. Lukitsch. He was a graduate of William Allen High School class of 1970 and worked as a highway foreman for PennDot for 30 years. He was an avid hunter and was cherished as a loving husband father and grandfather. Survivors: In addition to his wife Denise, Mike is survived by his son, Michael L. Lukitsch and girlfriend, Michele Bluis of Allentown; daughter, Tami Nicholas and her husband Jeffrey of Allentown; step daughters, Khristine Bachman and husband Michael Picard, Rebecca Bachman, Victoria Bruni and husband Michael; a sister, Patricia A. Barton of Coudersport; and a brother, John J. Lukitsch, Sr. of Saylorsburg; grandchildren, Sara Nicholas, Kylie Bachman and Cooper Picard. Services: A Service to be held Friday, February 5, at 8 p.m. in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown, with the Rev. Laverne Passman officiating. A viewing for family and friends to be held 6:30 p.m. until time of service. Contributions: Memorial Contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017
