Richard J. Hittinger

Richard J. Hittinger, 80, of February 11, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital – Allentown. He was the husband of Edith E. (Bachman) Hittinger. Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late George and Dolores (Gardner) Hittinger. Richard was a graduate of William Allen High School, Class of 1963, and he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He worked in maintenance at Maple Hills Veterinary Hospital in Wescosville for more than 30 years until retiring. He previously worked at A&B Meats. He was a member of the American Legion Sumner Avenue, Egypt VFW, the Marine Corps. League and and the Hogan's Social Club.

Survivors: Wife; Sons, Scott R. Hittinger and his wife, Kristin, and Bryon K. Hittinger and his fiancée, Lori; Grandchildren, Haylie and Taylor Hittinger; Brother, Chris Hittinger.
