Condolences to all family and friends of Dave. I'm just finding out about this terrible news, and it sickens me to know I will not be able to reconnect with Dave after I had been out of touch with him for a short time now. I believe the last time we spoke on the phone perhaps a year ago + or - , we had discussed finding an apt. , as the both of us had been looking for a new residence at that time. I didn't know Dave for a long time; but what I do know is he was one of the most intelligent, kind hearted, generous peoole I have ever met in my 47 years on this rock, and that he was definitely one of a kind. Dave, I will miss you brother. Your friend Ian Shane.

David Hittinger will remain in my heart as an exceptional young man... His willingness to share his wealth of knowledge and enrich the lives of those around him will remain a fond memory of his mannerisms. He excelled at all he did and was the go to guy for many people's questions or challenges. His free spirit and charm unforgettable. His love for song and philosophy. His skilled craftsmanship. A keen eye for detail. You don't find "normal" people so outstanding... I will moss him greatly and am grateful to ever have known such an awesome person. Thank you David. I Love You.

I met David years ago and even though I haven´t spoken to him in a couple years, I have nothing but wonderful memories of him and it hurts immensely to hear this. He was a very kind and gentle person
