Myrl B. Andersen

Myrl B. (Trexler) Andersen, 95, of Topton, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2022 in her residence. She was the widow of Einar Andersen who died on December 9, 2008. Born in Topton, Myrl was a daughter of the late Harry A. and Erma B. (Derr) Trexler. Myrl was a devoted member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Topton, where she was a long-time member of the senior choir and served on several other committees throughout the years. Myrl was employed at the former Caloric Corporation, Topton, for 10 years, however for most of her life, Myrl was a Homemaker, who took great pride in taking care of her home and raising her family. Myrl was very involved with her Topton community which she loved dearly. She was a member of the former Brandywine Minstrels, The Topton Centennial Committee and the Topton Senior Citizens group. Above all, Myrl loved her family and was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Myrl is survived by her four children, Einar L., husband of Patricia P. (Sillman) Andersen, Phoenix, AZ, Pamela K. (Andersen), wife of Michael J. Reinhart, Macungie, Lisa A. (Andersen), wife of William M. McGrath, Blandon, and Louise A. (Andersen), wife of Randy A. Carl, Topton; seven grandchildren, Michael P. Reinhart, Timothy A. Reinhart, Austin T. McGrath, Cullin A. McGrath, Erik A. Carl, Haley J. (Andersen) Dapkunas, and Mia C. Andersen; and 12 great-grandchildren, Andersen, Nicole, and Ryder Reinhart; Aubrey, Avery, Wes, Finley, Peyton and Teagan McGrath; Camden and Kinsley Carl; and Owen Dapkunas. Along with her husband and parents, Myrl was predeceased by a granddaughter, Nicole L. Reinhart, and siblings, Fern Schade, Irene Stopp, Frances Miller, Eleanor Reppert, Ruth Kistler, May Behm, Irwin Swoyer, Carl Trexler, Franklin Trexler and Lowell Trexler. Graveside services for Myrl will be held privately by her family in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.O.
