NANCY HELLINGS

Nancy (Sell) Hellings, daughter of the late Stewart and Helen (Valora) Sell of New Tripoli, PA, passed away on September 13, 2022, after a short battle with ovarian cancer. Nancy is survived by a daughter, Melinda Morgan of Venice, FL, with whom she resided since May; a son, Timothy P. Leibensperger of Williamsport, PA; and a granddaughter, Marissa Morgan of Naples, FL. Nancy is also survived by a sister, Linda S. Fields, and her husband Allen, of Myrtle Beach, SC and a brother, Lee D. Sell of New Tripoli, PA.

Nancy had an interesting employment history with several premier businesses throughout the Lehigh Valley, including Lehigh Valley Electronics in Fogelsville, Fuller Company in Allentown, and the Northeast Area Office of Wickes Lumber, where she met the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Hellings. Nancy finished her career as a legal secretary in the Law Offices of F. Paul Laubner.

Nancy and Chuck were blessed to have had a long and happy life together that included many trips to Moosehead Lake in Maine as well as beach vacations to Chincoteague, VA and Fort Myers, FL. In retirement, they lived in Homosassa, FL, where they enjoyed boating in the Gulf of Mexico and kayaking in the county's waterways. They loved the wonders of traveling out west, including Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, the awesome Rocky Mountains, and especially Zion National Park in Utah. Nancy and Chuck were together for 36 years until Chuck's death in 2017.

Nancy was deeply loved by her family, friends, and neighbors. She had a beautiful, generous heart and was always eager to listen. She had a way of lighting up a room and her sense of humor and kind encouragement will be missed by all who knew her.

Gulf Coast Cremations of Venice, FL will be handling the arrangements. No formal services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in remembrance of Nancy may be made to your local hospice or animal shelter.
