Nellie Evelyn Genotti

Genotti, Nellie EvelynNellie Evelyn (Boreman) Genotti, 89, of Woodbridge, VA, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in her daughter and son-in-law's home in Bethlehem, with her family present. Born in Benwood, WV, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Furbee) Boreman. Nellie graduated from Union High School in Benwood in 1946 and managed the Ormond Hosiery Shop in Wheeling, WV for two years in the 1940's. She was a devoted mother, excellent seamstress and the ultimate home economist. She married George J. Genotti on July 29, 1950. Survivors: She is survived by their three children, Gregory of S. Charleston, WV, Mary (Genotti) Collins and her husband James of Bethlehem, Diana (Genotti) Kump and her husband Steven of Hanover; sister, Jeanette Boreman of Wheeling, WV; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, beloved grandchildren, Christopher and Anthony Genotti and siblings, Katherine Tighe, Thomas Okey Boreman, Olive Sanders and Edward Boreman. Services: 2:00 p.m., Thursday July 16, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. until services.
