Olga Protas Obituary

Olga Protas, 98, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Walter B. Protas, the love of her life with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Borovtsy, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Karol and Christine Telpuk. She had a brother Ignat and sisters Natalia, Palachia, Paulina, Kolina, Zosia. Olga was the best homemaker and an amazing cook. She will be remembered for the love she had for her grandchildren, making each one of them feel uniquely special. She enjoyed long walks, tending to her meticulous garden and many trips to Longwood Gardens. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker R. C. Church, Orefield.

She is survived by her daughters, Sophia E. Leinweber; Patricia, wife of Wieslaw Krajewski; grandchildren, Nicholas Leinweber and his companion Geri Williams; Christina, wife of Dominic Hernandez; Gregory Leinweber; Christopher Krajewski and his wife Amiee; Alexander Krajewski and his wife Taylor; great granddaughter, Layla Grace Hernandez.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 AM, Friday, December 23, at St. Joseph the Worker R. C. Church, 1879 Applewood Dr, Orefield. Calling hour will begin at 9:30 AM and burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
