To the family & friends of Olivia,
As a mother of 2 toddler sons, both who have special needs. I understand the instant bond that is made with the birth of God's angels. I am very sorry and send my condolences to you on the loss of your sweet angel. Olivia is in the heavens watching and waiting for you. Although she is not here in vision she is with you always and forever in spirit. I hope you may one day find comfort in the words below. God Bless. Shenna Hersch

When God calls young heroes to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with the death of an angel
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold,
So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but a few
To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye".
So when a hero departs and earns his wings in heaven,
we who are left behind must realize
God loves heroes,
Angels are hard to find.

Blessings

God blesses us each with so many things
And sometimes that blessing is a child.
He chooses a special angel, picked just for you
And loans them to you for awhile.
From the time they arrive
They hold your heart in their hands
And add countless precious moments to your life
And each night we bow down and ask the good Lord above
To protect them and keep them from strife.
For this oh so precious gift,
God doesn't ask a large fee.
“Just love and care for them,
and teach them of Me”.
So we do what we can,
We work hard and we pray
And watch them blossom and grow
With each passing day.
Not one of us knows how long they'll be here
Or when God will call for his loan,
And take that special angel, picked just for you
Back to his glorious home.
But he made us a promise and I have no doubt,
He will carry you through this great sorrow.
Because when it's your time, he'll be first to greet you
And you'll be blessed with an eternity of tomorrows.

We are sorry for your loss of your Daughter/Sister/Granddaughter. Certainly Olivia stands next to Jesus, now fully understanding all of God's mysterious ways. She will be your guardian angel forever. The "Dove" poem was fantastic; surely Olivia hears it over and over and over.
We hope these poems show our support and give you strength.
"A child that loses a parent is an orphan,
A man who loses his wife is a widower,
A women who loses her husband is a widow,
There is no name for a parent that loses a child,
For there is no word to describe the pain."
AND
"The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again."

Rita & Ivan, I can't begin to ever know how you feel for the pain must be great indeed. But this I know, that God's love can heal your pain over time. We know that one day we will be reunited with God and our loved ones. God will wipe away every tear from our eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain.
