Well hon, it's been nine days since your soul left this earth. The first few days were like driving through our local fog. I would be panic stricken, while you calmed me down. Don't ever think I did not see your white knuckles.
You were always so protective of me, my hero, my knight in shining armor. Of course no one would ever see that part of us. They saw the jokes, and jabs and sarcastic come backs.

You were always there for me, and I was always there for you. Feet firmly planted on the ground, and your magnificent mind, always reaching for the stars. Once in a while, as wild Bill would say, he needs a boot in the behind, that only I could deliver.
We were never the perfect couple, but our imperfections made it all work.

I wondered when it would hit me, I guess today is the day. I have taken care of most of things on the list and now I have to thank everyone for their condolences. That will take a long time. So many people liked you, surprise, surprise! Can't imagine why!! Timmytoo knows you are not here so he has been spending most of his time with Oliver. We had a WAKE at the house, you would have loved it. It was strickly word of mouth but we has more than a hundrend people here. I sat with you the whole time. Bob was there and Tony DeGicinto. Thank God for Eddie, he goes there and stopped in because tony Always asked about you. Steve Teeno, so many....Joe Kurzera was a mess. His tears really touched me. You loved your home, so the last time you left it, I wanted you surrounded by friends. I will tell you more about it when I see you. I will love you till the day that I die. Mare

Mary Anne & Family:
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Phil worked with my mother and brother at Grief for many years. He was a kind and generous man. I ran a shelter for the homeless back then and thanks to his kindness and compassion the lobby looked beautiful with furniture that Grief no longer needed. He donated hundreds of men's suits so homeless men could attend job interviews and get back on their feet. I will never forget the generosity he encouraged and the support he gave. My mom, Betty Lysek, is happy to have him join her in heaven. God bless you all and may he rest in peace.
