Richard T. Kurtz
Richard T. Kurtz, 74, of Towamensing Township, died March 19 in Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Alice J. Kurtz. He owned and operated Ks Corner Grocery, Kirkville, N.Y. for 15 years before retiring in 1992. He also worked for Conrail, Syracuse, N.Y., until 1990. Born in Syracuse, he was a son of the late George and Rose (Cullivan) Kurtz. Survivors: Son, Richard T. of Greenville, N.Y.; daughter, Kathleen L. Beam of Palmerton; grandchildren, Richard, William and Christine Kurtz, all of Voorheesville, N.Y., Kevin Haverly of Greenville, N.Y., Rebecca Beam of Palmerton. Services: private. Arrangements, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, Palmerton. Contributions: Disabled American Veterans, c/o the funeral home, 145 Delaware Ave., Palmerton 18071.
