Robert L. Grube Sr.

Robert L. Grube, Sr., 70, of Spring Lake, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, March 05, 2022, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Harvey E. and Arlene E. (Remaley) Grube. After attending Nazareth High School, Robert enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served for more than 20 years in the military, which included the Vietnam era. Following his military career, Robert worked in the private sector as a heavy equipment operator. He was a proud member of the Spring Lake VFW Post 4542 in Spring Lake, NC.

Survivors: Robert is survived by sons, Robert L. Grube, Jr. and wife, Michelle, of Norwich, Connecticut, and Kevin M. Grube of Nazareth; a daughter, Hope M. Larrimore and husband, Charles, of Bowmanstown; six grandchildren, Tori, Austin, Gabrielle, Tucker, Christopher, and Catherine; brothers, Terry Grube of Texas, and Allen Grube and wife, Michelle, of Wind Gap; six sisters, Marie Jones and husband, Roland, of Whitehall, Patricia Hindermyer of Trenton, NJ, Sandy Klotz of Nazareth, Linda Smith of Easton, Rose Grube of Nazareth, and June Fazekas and husband, Dave, of Catasauqua; along with many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by a son, Eric S. Grube, in 2003; and two brothers, Walter Grube and Thomas, an infant.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 12 Noon in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow with Military Honors in Fairview Cemetery, Moorestown.
