Robert Kominsky

Robert D. Kominsky, 78, born in Allentown, died December 12, 2015, at home. He is survived by his wife, Georgine (Gigi) of 33 years. He was the son of the late Alex and Pearl (Woodling) Kominsky. Robert graduated from Allen High School, and then served his country in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division. He worked for 40 years as a forger at Bonney Forge. He enjoyed his children and his grandchildren, telling jokes, and going to the Atlantic City casinos. Survivors: Robert is survived by his sons, Robert D. Kominsky, Jr., and Terry L. Kominsky and his wife Sharon; daughters Cheri Lee Rogers and her husband Kelly, Tina Kominsky; step-daughters Karen Falise and her husband Richard, Michelle Hauck and her husband Jeffrey; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Alex Kominsky; sisters Marion Weil and her husband Ron, and Mary Kominsky. Robert was predeceased by his sisters Marlene Barber, Doris Gaffney, and Arlene Esterly, and by his stepson Charles J. Wisser. Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 15, in The Long Funeral Home, Inc, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from on Monday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM, and also on Tuesday morning from 10 AM until time of services.
