He was known for his sharp sense of humor and terrific memory. He was a member of Calvary Church and later St. Pauls in Pittsburgh. Survivors: He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen (1994) and is survived by four children (and spouses): Kathleen (Robert Martinez) of Falls Church, VA, Bruce (Whitney) of Topanga, CA, Maureen (Vital Imbert) of Seattle, WA, Marybeth Caruso (Gerald) of Andover, MA, and his son-in-law, Daniele Lingua, of Luxembourg; and 10 grandchildren. To the Family of Bob McCleery ~
I was so sorry to hear of Mr. McCleery's passing. I work for the foot doctor in Brookline where he came every 10 weeks to get his toenails cut. Though he wanted to be called "Bob", out of respect I called him Mr. McCleery. I would tell him that he must be a good man because his name was "Bob" and it was my dad's name. I will miss his friendliness, wonderful sense of humor, and "one-of-a-kind" memory. It saddens me that I won't be seeing him. I will keep him in my prayers always.
