Robert James Schnecker Jr.

Robert James Schnecker, Jr., 68, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Bohning) Schnecker, with whom he shared over 43 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Robert James, Sr. and Gladys E. (Miller) Schnecker. Bob was employed by Bethlehem Steel as a Roller. He worked briefly at Centec before ending up as a Working Leader for Lehigh Heavy Forge, until his retirement in 2021. He enjoyed his many family vacations down the shore and to the mountains as well as cruises. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and loved his trips every Saturday to Zandy's Steak Shop. Above all, Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife Nancy, he will be remembered by his sons Randy Schnecker and his wife Kimberly of Allentown and Chad Schnecker and his wife Tamera of Nazareth; daughter Rachel Cresta and her husband Daniel of Bethlehem Twp.; siblings James Schnecker and his wife Debbie, Barbara Alier and her husband Douglas and John Schnecker all of Bethlehem; his loving grandchildren Madison, Benjamin, Luke, Bryce and Cora; many loving nieces and nephews and his canine companion Booker.

SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling hours will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and also on Tuesday morning from 10 A.M. until time of the service in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
