Roberta Mae Bogdan, 84, of Bethlehem Township, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 in Country Meadows Nursing Home. She was born April 17, 1923 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Gottfried and Clara Anna (Lorenz) Flammer. She was the wife of the late Louis L. Bogdan. Roberta worked for St. Lukes Hospital for 23 years as a birth registrar. She was a member of Moravian Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Barry Bogdan and his wife, Eileen, of Bethlehem Township; daughter, Clara Ann Kresge and Roger Appleton of Stroudsburg; twin brother, Robert Flammer of Bethlehem; sister, Arline Sopko of Lower Saucon Township; grandson, David Wrazien; two great-granddaughters, Haley and Brittney. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Alfred, Gilbert and Albert Flammer, and sisters, Betty Solt, Claire Horwath, Eleanor Weaver, Gertrude Flammer and Hilda Wildoner. Services: A funeral service will be held, Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
