Ronald Smith Sr.

Ronald L. Smith, Sr. 58, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, September 24, 2017. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late, Leroy and Marie (Freeman) Smith. He was the loving husband to Joann (Horn) Smith. They were married 38 years. Ronald worked as a mechanic for various shops for many years. He loved music especially the drums. He was always helping someone. Ronald was an avid Eagles fan. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joann; children, Deanna Seals and husband, Brian, Nicole Smith and companion, Angel, Crystal Smith, Nadia Smith and companion, Elias, Ronald Smith, Jr. and Jason Korpics all of Bethlehem; his brother, Leroy Smith, Jr.; sisters, Gail Cole and Carolyn Smith-Sanderson; 11 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lucinda Sanderson; mother-in-law, Grace Horn; and brother-in-law, Michael Horn. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Smith; brother-in-law, James Cole; and sister-in-law, Lugene Korpics. Services: A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-9 PM and again on Friday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by a service at 12 PM. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bethlehem.
