Rose Eck Obituary

Rose J. Eck, 85, of Allentown, passed away peacefully at home on November 30, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Elwood L. "Woody" Eck. Rose worked at the former Grim's Bakery, where she met her husband of 54 years. Later, she worked as a sales clerk at the former Revco Pharmacy until retiring. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Kathryn (Whitehouse) Novak. She was a 1950 graduate of Allentown High School. Her children were her world. Playing Bingo, collecting jewelry, and sharing a smile with others brought her great joy. Survivors: Children: Sheree A. Seip, Patti L. LaFragola, Wendy S. Brahm and Michael F. Eck and wife Michelle, Brother: Edward Novak and his wife Shirley, and Grandchildren: Jordan and Evan LaFragola, and Corrigan and Laken Eck. She was preceded in death by her twin sister: Josephine Reiland.In keeping with Rose's wishes, there will be no services; however, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Luke's Hospice 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
