Russell J. Kramer
Russell J. Bud Kramer, 82, of Quakertown died May 26. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Elsie M. (Loughridge), a daughter Susan, and an infant daughter. Born in Perkasie, he was the son of the late Russell U. and Irene (Hunsberger) Kramer. He worked as a machinist for over 60 years, most recently employed with Johnson Brothers Machine in Riegelsville. Bud loved his country. He was a US Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS North Carolina during WWII. He served as Correspondent for 40 Et 8, a service organization for veterans families. He was a member of the Quakertown Moose, a lifetime member of Post 242 of the American Legion, and a member of VFW. He was a lifetime member and volunteer fireman for West End Fire Company in Quakertown. Bud traveled and visited 48 of the 50 states and enjoyed many trips to Florida visiting old friends. He was an avid golfer and loved participating in many sports. Survivors: He is survived by three daughters, Cathy Kramer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Angela Lewis (Bevan) and Christine Susavage (John), both of Quakertown; a sister, Kathryn Shaw of Quakertown; six grandchildren, David and Ellen Krikorian, Emily, Hannah, and Elizabeth Susavage, and Jacob Lewis; and two nieces; and two nephews. Services: A graveside committal service will take place on Friday, June 4 at 6 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Quakertown. Please join us for a Celebration of Life gathering at the Quakertown Moose Lodge on Friday, June 4 between 7 and 9 p.m. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements. Contributions: Memorial contributions can be made to the Quakertown Moose for fraternal projects (115 E. Broad Street, Quakertown, PA 18951).

Bud was a true friend, a co-worker and a good man. He will be miseed by his many friends he had made in Florida. From all
