Survivors: Son: Ronald K. Bower and his wife Kathleen of Whitehall, Brother: Robert C. Lenhart and his companion Betty Lou of Salisbury, MD, Granddaughters: Kelly Bower, Kristine wife of Steven Strauss and Angela Bower and her companion Matthew C., Great-Grandchildren: Christopher, Justin and Jared Strauss and a Great-Great Grandchild: Aspen Strauss.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown. Condolences may be offered at: www.jsburkholder.com

Ruth was my sister, my best friend, my buddy and my second Mother. Always had time to listen to me, would give me her best advice and never wanted anything in return. All she ever wanted was love and respect although I don't think she always got it. I will miss her terribly and her many phone calls. We always ended our conversations with love ya, love ya, love ya.

Aunt Ruth was always smiling and had a great sense of humor with a quick wit! I will always remember her cutting our hair, then having ice cream afterwards. She was so full of endless love for those close to her and cared for Grammy for so many years. Aunt Ruth will be missed by many. At last “Snuffy” and “Winnie” are reunited again eternally!!!
