Ruth West Obituary
Born in Pen Argyl to the late Arthur A. and Elizabeth (Rowlands) Bray, Ruth was the wife of George O. West, Jr. for 62 years. She attended The First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua. A 1952 graduate of Bangor High School, she graduated from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. Ruth most enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family. Surviving beside her husband are daughters Sharon West, Donna White and her husband Bernie, and grandson Staff Sgt. Gregory Reamer serving in the US Air Force. Services officiated by Rev. Christine Kass will be at Noon on Wednesday December 4, 2019 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd Whitehall, PA 18052, located 1 block south of the Fullerton Ave exit of Route 22, where her viewing will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions honoring Ruth may be presented to Lehigh Valley Hospice PO Box 4000 Development Office, Allentown, PA 18105
