Samuel Arthur Hall, 89, of Coplay, formerly of Maine and New Jersey, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in his home. He was the husband of Jessie Lee (Hudson) Hall. The couple celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last March 10th. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on August 23, 1922, Samuel was the son of the late Dr. Samuel Arthur Hall, Sr. and Florence Agnes (Mechling) Hall. He was employed as a Supervisor for A.T.&T., in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, for 32 years, before retiring in 1977. He was a member of the A.T.&T. Pioneers. Samuel faithfully and honorably served his country in the U. S. Coast Guard during World War II and in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Jessie; sons, Eugene A. Hall, of Concord, Massachusetts, Gary W. Hall and his wife, Deborah, with whom they resided; grandchildren, Skye Albert-Hall, Tracey L. Ulo-Hall and Jennifer A. Fuller; great grandchildren, Amaya, Luca, Greyson and Jessie. Services: Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2011, in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Tony Sundermeier officiating.
