I will never forget how happy they were when I told them I was selling my home to them. She loved that front porch swing! I left it for her and Jill she was in it with your children!!! I am so happy they had that brief time in the home they wanted that is now your forever home! May your family have a lifetime of happy memories of Suzanne, your precious mother and Dave, your dad!

To our family...it is beyond words how we try to wrap our heads around this tragedy. I find one thing that for me is that knowing how they died...that your mom had her arms wrapped around her husband and that their passing on together has to be the best way to enter into eternal life...going together. When I read what I just wrote...it is so bitter sweet. They always did everything together...including this...which is so like them...in life and in death. We will attend Mass in their honor at Holy Trinity Church on Saturday. May God Bless all of us with the great memories that they left behind for us to share. They are greatly missed. Love eenie

Suzy and Dave were the nicest, lovingest couple you'd ever want to know and have in your life. We can't express how sorry we are to hear the news and it goes beyond our understanding why you were taken from us. Hummel / Fryer families. We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Suz and Dave. They were soul mates in life and beyond. It is so sad that you all have to bury both at the same time. I met Suzanne during high school when she worked in the Activities Office. I wrote for the newspaper, and went to the office frequently to gather information about sports and other activities, and she was always willing to help with a huge smile on her face. I'm sure she touched many other lives while working in the NWLSD.

Suzanne, so glad you lived in my home that you always wanted for a little while. I remember you telling me you wanted it for your children and grandchildren. I remember Dave telling me he had put money on another house but you wanted my home. You were soo happy. Both of you had so much love for each other and it showed. I only had the pleasure of knowing you for a month or so but my life was enriched because I met you both. I will pray for your children and grandchildren to find some way to cope with this tragedy. Thoughts and prayers to the family of Sue and Dave.
I worked with Sue at Northwestern High School and I don't believe I ever saw her without a smile! She was a warm and caring person. She had a great relationship with her children and grandchildren. My husband worked for Dave the past year, and anyone with eyes could see the love he had for Sue, and knew how much his family meant to him. Dave and Sue were always together and will be for eternity. They will be greatly missed! May they rest in peace.
