Suzanne H. "Suzy" Saylor

79 years of age and longtime resident of Fullerton, passed away peacefully in the home of her daughter, early Monday morning December 27, 2021, surrounded by her loving and dedicated family. The wife of Herbert H. "Herbie" Saylor, Jr. for almost 57 years at the time of his passing in 2020, she was born in Allentown to the late Paul J. and Margaret (Hughes) Brezina, Sr. A 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School, she was the matron and a cook at Fullerton Fire Company #1 for decades, and where she was the longtime Secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary. Suzy is survived by daughter Pamela Rickard with Tom Klocek; sons Mark with wife Colleen (Nickerson), and Matthew with wife Denise (Brandon); grandchildren Jeffrey, Madalyn, Katie and Colin; sisters Dolores Breitfeld and Teresa Schwenk with husband Chuck; brothers Paul J. Brezina Jr. with wife Pat, and Michael Brezina; brother in law Joe Gitski; along with a host of nieces, nephews & extended family; predeceased by infant daughter Teresa, sisters Joan Yapsuga and Margaret Gitski; sister in law Sharon Brezina and brother in law Herbie Breitfeld.

Her Catholic prayer service will be Tuesday January 4, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd. Whitehall, PA 18052, where her viewing will begin at 10:00 am, with recitation of the Rosary at 10:45 am. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Mem Park.
