"> Thomas Heidecker
Thomas R. Heidecker has gone to be with his Lord after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. He died Sunday evening, Sept. 28, 2009, at his home, surrounded by his loving family who treasured him as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was the husband of Ruth (Kelleher) Heidecker. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary last February. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas R. Jr., in 1949. "A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such speed. It feels an impulsion ... this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond the horizons"
Paulo Coelho "The Alchemist"

Ruth,
please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your loved father, Mr. Tom Heidecker.

Dear Ruth and the whole Heidecker family: My sincere sympathy and prayers for comfort for all of you. "Uncle" Tom was our Ford dealer and good friend. It was always a treat to visit his shop. Later on we had good talks about his many travels and love of German Polka music. He inspired me to want to travel, and I did. He took time to come to the Brugger family reunions and it was god to have him there. So many good memories and good times, not to be forgotten but enjoyed over and over again.
