To the family of Tommy Abraham -
My dad, Howard Bauder was a longtime customer of Tom's. Dad grew up in "the ward" and always stayed true to the neighborhood. I met Tom on numerous occasions when I was with my dad. But I also knew Tom bc he visited Abe Joseph, a resident at Green Meadows where I was employed. I will always remember Tom with great fondness. A habit Tom had that touched my heart was he used to tape his customers obituaries to the mirror in his shop. I visited one time and my dad's was up there. That brought a tear to my eye. Tom was a great guy.

I'm sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I lost touch after he retired. I went to him from the time I was 5 years old until his retirement. I loved going to the old shop. My condolences to the family. RIP "Hawk eye" Abraham.

As a kid growing up in the Bronx I would spend the summers in Allentown and always go down to Abes and have Tommy cut my hair. He would always kid me about who had the best DA him or me. Through the years whenever I would come in to town I always went to him and we would always talk about the 50s and 60s. Couldn't find a nicer guy, rest in RIP Tom.

Uncle Tom was one of the most important men in my life when I was a young boy and spent a lot of time with my cousins Michele Abraham Mishko and Michael Abraham. Also, whenever I was visiting or staying with my grandparents (Jiddoo & Sittoo in Arabic) he never minded me hanging out at his nearby barbershop and hearing him tell jokes to his customers. He would fire off a little cannon in the backyard during family gatherings and do Tarzan yells. He liked wearing huge western belt buckles, as you see him (on the right) doing in this picture with his buddy, my Mom's second husband Eddie Kish. He was a fun uncle. He has a very special place in my heart.

To the Abraham family, I'm sorry to hear of Tom's passing, and give my sincere condolences. I'll miss his friendly banter and his smile. Everytime we met, he always had a humorous sarcastic remark to me to open our talks, and was always warm and caring. I can't remember a time in my life when he wasn't that way. I, and others, will miss him, I'm sure. God bless you all.

My cousin. Tom had a great and loving heart. We lived worlds apart, but only 5 hours today but a long drive back in the day. I visited often on my way to or from West Point for a football game or other event. Several times I took my dad. When all three of us were together we joked about 3 Tom Abrahams in the same room. He and Mary were perfect hosts. I know Tom was devastated when Mary passed. They will be together now. Two great humans.I will miss my cousin. I always looked up to him. Rest in peace, Cuz.

My earliest memories of Uncle Tom are always of him behind the film camera. If not for him recording our earliest years, we wouldn't have 57 year old home movies of us toddling around in diapers. I will miss you. Although I love you' wasnt often said, I told him every time I saw him these last years, and he said it back too. ❤❤
