Valarie L. Dunn

Valarie L. Dunn, 48, of New Tripoli, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Steven C. Dunn. They were married on February 26, 2005 and celebrated 16 years of marriage. She and her husband co-owned and operated Dunn's Farm Market, LLC., Trucking Company, New Tripoli, the former Dunn's Farm Market, South Tamaqua, and she previously co-owned and operated with her mother, the Bake Oven Inn, Germansville. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Dennis L. Wieder, of Breinigsville, and Pamela (Bensinger) Wieder, of New Ringgold. She was a member of Christ Church, Mckeansburg, West Penn Rod and Gun Club, and the Sportsman's Rod and Gun Club, Andreas. Valarie was a loving wife, mother, and daughter. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, riding motorcycle and four-wheeler with her family. She was an amazing cook and an artistic home decorator. Valarie's last gift to the world was the most precious, selfless gift she could give; she donated her organs to those in need through Gift of Life. Surviving in addition to her husband, mother, and father, are beloved daughter, Madison; three stepchildren, Maryann Rhody, Paula Stevens, and Steven C. Dunn Jr.; a brother, Kyle R. Wieder; two step grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life visitation will be held at 9-11am on Saturday, May 8, at the Hartman Funeral Home. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 600 Corporate Circle, Suite 103, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
